Webmobo Beta
Welcome to Webmobo Beta. Webmobo Beta is a part of Webmobo that allows the public to test and run Beta applications before official release.
Also available are Beta only downloads, these downloads are not available on the main site to stop confusion. Currently we only have available
WB News which is the only application thus far to be deemed ready for Beta.
Not all versions of applications created by Webmobo hosted in the Beta area will be available to be tested here.
Versions which are available here are either major bug fixes, or new core structure to help determine this Webmobo gives a
version number such as 1.0.0. Basically "1" means the core structure, the first "0" is the number of which major bug fix it is
and the last "0" indicates smaller less extensive bug fixes.
Beta News
WB News Beta 1 2.0.0 Available
The first beta release for v2.0.0 has just been released. We do not recommend that you use this version on a production server.
This version has been in development since December 2006.
WB News Beta 3 1.0.0 Available
Only a few fixes this time, and WB News Beta 3 has been officially released for download. There is only one known
bug from Beta 1 which still has not been fixed to an acceptable level hopefully official release there will be a
better fix available. Again this is not ready for production use as of yet but we do suggest that it gets tested
rigorously as the official release should be next week.
WB News Beta 2 1.0.0 Available
We have had many Bug fixes, and there are still a few more to complete however this is the stage where you can finally download WB News v1.0.0 for testing. By no means is this ready for full production use however we are wanting users to test as much as they possibly can so we can fix any remaining bugs within the system before Beta 3 and especially before offical release.
WB News Beta 1.0.0 Available
It has been in development for over 4months and finally you can see the first public viewable version of WB News. There are some bugs still existent in the system and certain areas still not 100% complete. Hopefully the first of 3 Betas can help rectify this problem as best as possible to give an almost bug free official release.
